Our story

Where NAZ comes from

NAZ began with a simple question: why does everyday furniture have to be ordinary? Our first collection, The usual, Otherwise (FW26), answers it with three pieces you'll recognise and still want to look at twice.

Full-grain leather comes from the top layer of the hide and isn't sanded down, so it keeps its natural texture and softens with use. Wood is chosen piece by piece: each one uses the method and veneer that suits its shape.

Care

Living with wood & leather

A little care keeps both materials looking their best for years.

Leather

  • Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Blot spills straight away. Don't rub.
  • Keep it out of strong direct sun and away from heaters.
  • Condition lightly once or twice a year.
  • Marks and darkening over time are patina, not damage.

Wood

  • Wipe with a soft cloth that's barely damp, then dry.
  • Use coasters under hot or wet glasses.
  • Avoid silicone sprays and harsh cleaners.
